A Los Angeles mother recorded the terrifying moment she discovered a man in the trunk of a driverless Waymo taxi she'd ordered for her daughter.

"I ordered a Waymo for my daughter and a random was in the trunk," a TikTok user going by the name Lucky Thurman wrote as she shared a video of the bizarre interaction on Wednesday. In the clip, recorded from the front of the car, a man's head could be seen poking up from behind the back seats of the driverless taxi as he was confronted by a woman.

"Why the f--- are you in the trunk?" the woman demanded. "That's why I'm trying to figure this out, this s--- won't let me out," the man responded as he hit the back of a headrest in his hand, implying he was trapped in the trunk.
