It's said that the 38-year-old was lured to a villa around 80 miles from Dubai in October, by men who were posing as prospective investors into Novak's reported £380 million fortune.
Three suspects were subsequently detained in St Petersburg, after it was rumoured that two fighters from the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine and an ex-murder squad detective orchestrated the murders.
The kidnappers had a 'large ransom' demand which was left 'not paid' prior to their demise. It also recently emerging that Novak sent out a number of desperate messages after he was taken, though to no avail.
